Ronhill introduce Polygiene to garments

Ronhill has introduced Polygiene® technology into the range for AW13 and looks to introduce it further for SS14

The antimicrobial fabric technology is included in the Men’s and Women’s Base Seamless 200 L/S Tee to keep the garment fresh, odour free and longer lasting.

What is Polygiene?

Polygiene® is a treatment applied to the fabric that inhibits and guards against the growth of odours from microbes such as bacteria, fungus and mildew.

With the Polygiene treatment the Ronhill garment will;

Stay freshPolygiene inhibits the growth of odor causing bacteria for that fresh-all-day feeling.

Stay hygienicPolygiene helps prevent odor and prolongs the lifetime of clothing since the products are treated to resist deterioration by mold fungus and odor-causing bacteria.

Get a permanent effectThe treatment is permanent and effective for the lifetime of the product.

Be more climate smart

Wash less – Polygiene treated garments can be used several times before washing and can be washed at lower temperatures which result in reduced water, detergent and energy consumption.

Longer lifetime of the garment – Fibers live longer without bacteria and excessive washing, and treated products are not discarded prematurely due to odor.

Less luggage can be used when traveling.

Recycleable – Polygiene-treated garments can be recycled when worn-out.

bluesign® approved – Polygiene meets the requirements of the textile industry’s demanding environmental certification that takes the entire product life-cycle into account.

How does it work?

Without Polygiene – Odor causing bacteria settles into the material and multiplies

With Polygiene – Inhibits the growth of odor-causing bacteria in the material, creating an odor free effect.
