Technical Details

RACE

Racing is in our DNA. Ron loved it. However, in those early days he grew increasingly frustrated with kit that just didn’t perform as he wanted and needed it to. So, at the start line he tore his shorts down the side and the concept of the original split racer short was born. As a doctor in textile chemistry, he took the ripped shorts home and refined the principle into the racer short many wear to this day. Ron also developed the mesh racer vest to keep his body cool and well ventilated through every gut-busting stride. Today we include cutting-edge iterations of those first prototypes using the latest lightweight fabrics, seem technology and styling.
