To state the obvious, running is about moving forward. We’re 50 this year, but you won’t find us taking a nostalgic pause or giving ourselves a celebratory pat on the back – how would that help runners?


50 years ago, our founder, Dr. Ron Hill, was never interested in how things had been, or how things are. Instead he was obsessed with how things could be better. Ron ripped his running shorts to aid his stride, inventing the split short. He was one of the first to experiment with mesh and performance fabrics for runners. This innovation, invention and re-invention created the benchmarks for modern running gear.

Our new Revive series is the continuation of this story. In 2020 innovation must consider the planet, so using eco-conscious, whisper light fabrics created from recycled yarn, we’ve defined new standards for split shorts, race vests, T-shirts and tights. Built from the deep insight of our test team, the Revive series is cutting-edge, high-performance technical gear designed to meet real world needs of runners.

Every seam and stitch has been considered, fits have been carefully tweaked and refined, features improved and simplified. Revive takes everything we’ve learned from 50 years of running and weaves it into gear made for one focused purpose: To help runners run.
